Son Of A One Eyed Man
In Norse mythology, Odin, traded one of his eyes to drink from the well of universal wisdom, which allowed him to see and understand things that others couldn’t.
SON OF A ONE-EYED MAN was inspired by the story of Odin’s sacrifice and questions our capacity to change our system of perception, and more importantly, our disposition to do so. Just as Odin was willing to sacrifice something valuable to gain wisdom, we too sometimes let go of old ways of thinking in order to expand our understanding of the world.
SON OF A ONE-EYED MAN reminds us that wisdom is not easily gained, and that sometimes we must make sacrifices to achieve it. It encourages us to be brave, to challenge our beliefs, and to seek out new perspectives in order to become more enlightened and compassionate beings.
