Throughout my life, I have always held a soft spot for pigs, to the point of having more than one pig-related pet name. When I found myself living in Beijing during the Year of the Pig, it was the perfect opportunity to indulge my passion for these fascinating creatures.  

Pigs are widely regarded as emblems of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune in Chinese culture, along with other auspicious symbols such as cabbage, lucky coins, and koi fish.  

CHANCHOCHINO is a series of handmade, unique and numbered collectibles inspired by a deep feeling of connection to the symbol of good luck and prosperity that the pig represents in Chinese culture. It’s fair to say that I have always considered myself a lucky pig, and as I started crafting my own pig-inspired creations, I couldn’t help but aspire to spread my good fortune with the world through each and every CHANCHOCHINO that I created.
